Excited to announce that Weekend Warrior Soccer has joined forces with Inland Sand™ Soccer to help bring adult divisions to their highly anticipated beach soccer tournament! Wait…Huntsville has a beach? No, but we do have a world class sand volleyball facility at John Hunt! Who’s up for some sand soccer!??
The Inland Sand Beach Soccer Tournament, is a 4 on 4, WITH KEEPERS, sand soccer tournament for youths and adults aged 8 though 80 with divisions based on age, gender, and ability. The Inland Sand Beach Soccer Tournament is the only beach soccer tournament making its way to non-traditional coastal beaches. basically, we are BRINGING THE BEACH TO YOU!
Weekend Warrior loves to see soccer grow in this town, particularly with the adults. We have our summer tournament coming up July 19-21st – brought to you by Definitive Valuations. We’ve seen this event grow from 8 teams playing on a rough patch of grass to now nearly 50 teams from 5 states — playing on the nice turf fields at Merrimack Park. We started this little adventure because of the lack of soccer for adults in the area and we see the Inland Sand Beach Soccer Tournament as just another great option for people of all ages to get out and enjoy the beautiful game.
The Inland Sand Beach Soccer Tournament is ideal because it is played on a reduced sized field and enables players more opportunities to touch the ball than in regular games. Additionally, more experienced players get to develop their talents, strength, and tactics in a competitive, yet fun, environment. There is even an adult cash prize division if you think your team has what it takes!
