Got word today that the fields are lined and the weather is shaping up nicely. The site has been down for the last 5 days. I’ve mentioned to my host provider that this was the worst conceivable timing….we’ll see what happens. Anyway, for those that are playing or want to come out we’ll be out at the fields from 8-2 on Saturday and Sunday. All division 1 games will be played at 10:00 & 12:00 on Saturday and 9:00 on Sunday with the finals match at 12:00pm. Division 2 matches will be played at 9:00 & 11:00 on Saturday and 10:00 on Sunday with the finals match played at 12:00pm as well.
Also please remember that we are doing a raffle that goes 100% to the Mellissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at Huntsville Hospital. We are auctioning off $200 in Landscaping services, Rocket City United jersey’s and tournament t-shirts. Tickets are only $1 a piece and there are no restrictions on how many tickets you can buy. We went with this charity because my own son was born 2 months premature, but thanks to the Nicu at Huntsville Hospital is now a healthy 3 year old. I wanted to help them out in anyway I can through awareness and of course with donations. Please pass this info along to anybody you think might be coming out to the tournament.?
